Cheviot Sheepdogs are able to offer a micro chipping service. Sue is a fully qualified micro chip implanter.

We use the pet-detect microchip which is made in Germany by A.E.G. Sterilized and blister packed. Uses the latest technology (FDX-B) and fully complies with the Pet Passport Scheme. The AEG microchip has only 6 components (compared with 17 - 19 components in most other brands) and does not contain lead solder. It is also one of the smallest on the market and independent tests show that the smaller the microchip the less likely it is to migrate. Can be scanned by all I.S.O. scanners, regardless of manufacturer.

Cheviot Sheepdogs attend various sheep

dog trials and sheepdog sales throughout the South of Scotland and Northern England. where we are able to offer a micro chipping service at a special rate on the day.

For one or two dogs £15.00 per dog, usual price £18.00.

For three or more dogs registered in one persons name, £12.00 usual price £15.00.

Puppies must be eight weeks of age if they are of medium to large breeds.

Small breeds must be ten weeks of age before we can micro chip them.
